YouTube™ Videos
One of my very technically savvy clients pointedly noted that Dr. Peebles and I ought to join the ranks of YouTube™ users, and get out there on Facebook™. With the help of this wonderfully creative woman, Kelly Coltrane-Martinez, together we now have several YouTube™ videos for your watching, listening, loving (and, in some cases, hating) pleasure.
Healthy Skepticism
One of my favorite comments on a video was a woman who said, "I don't know. The accent sounds kind of fake." I laughed out loud when I read that. I certainly can understand why it might be difficult for many people to believe that what I do as a Trance Medium is real. Yes, indeedy, Dr. Peebles' accent is kinda funny. (I assume it's because he was of Scottish descent, and lived all over the world during his nearly 100 year life.) And, no doubt, believing that a spirit is speaking through someone can be tremendously challenging, scary, and in many cases, life-changing for people. Frankly, I think being a Trance Medium is a strange way to make a living. (Just ask my children who grew up having to answer the question: "So, what does your Mom do for a living?" Ah!)
But, when I set out to become a Trance Medium, I didn't intend to do it to make a living. Honestly, why would anyone in their right mind want to do this for a living, and be subjected to scrutiny, skepticism, and sometimes even haters? Even worse, this work is not for the vain! (Have you seen my face transform when I'm in trance? I'm not lookin' like some kind of runway model, that's fer sure. Uh, not that I ever did. But, this trance channeling stuff is definitely not a glam-fest.) Plus, I find the work to be personally physically taxing. And, really? Could I possibly make this stuff up? I'm not one for memorizing lines, and I guarantee that I'm no actress. Nor do I read a lot of books on metaphysics, spirituality, angels, etc. I'm not up on who the latest gurus are, or international spiritual teachings. All I know is the proof is in the pudding. Either it makes sense to you, or it doesn't. I can't make you believe in this, nor do I want to make you believe in this. I don't want "followers." As I've said many times, jokingly, "Don't you dare say the 'F' word around me," i.e. F-ollowers.
These videos and the other information in this website are for your personal exploration, amusement, entertainment, joy, enlightenment, empowerment, etc. Whatever YOU get from it, well...your life is all about you anyway, isn't it? I think skepticism, when it's not interlaced with mud-flinging and hatred, can be very, very healthy. There are lots and lots of charlatans out there who would love for a fool and their money (or heart and soul) to be easily parted. They exist in every walk of life: from trance mediums to realtors, medical doctors, school teachers, and politicians. So, please, use your own discernment and discretion as you would in all areas of your life.
Do I believe in me? Absolutely. Do I believe in Dr. Peebles, and that spirits can speak through people? Beyond a shadow of a doubt. But, you have to find your own way, and I hope, if nothing else, the information here will help you sort through the plethora of spiritual information that is out there in the world. If you walk away feeling more skeptical, then you know more about who you are, and what beliefs you are carrying in this lifetime. If, perchance, you find yourself smiling and feeling inspired, then you just gave me another reason to "get up and do it again."
God bless you, indeed!
