On the Promise of God & On Enlightenment
Dr. Peebles on The Promise of God
"The promise of God for everyone is that you will find your heart in this lifetime or another, and that you will know love. It's not out of reach for any of you; not ever. There's not one better than the other, my dear friends. There is no hierarchy. We are no better. We, just in some cases, know better because we have the perspective here. But, we know the truth of you, and there's not one of you-not one of you-on the earth that we would ever give up on, that God would not care for. There's not one of you that is, my dear friends, out of reach of the light. God bless you indeed!"
Dr. Peebles on Enlightenment
"If we were to tell you here, 'Guess what? You are enlightened!' you would say, 'How could that possibly be? I have so much more to learn!' Well, when you're enlightened, my dear friends, where are you going to get to next? The learning never ends! It's a state of understanding. It is where you no longer seek love, but rather you become it. There's not even a necessity to utter the word 'love' anymore, because you know the truth of it. It is the healer, it is the teacher, it is your strength, it is truth, it is honesty, it has no expectations. It (love) just is what it is."

"So as far as we are concerned, my dear friends, enlightenment is when you're not thinking about what you're supposed to be doing, but you know that you are pure love, and in abiding in that truth there's no way that you're ever going to do anything other than do the loving, kind, sincere, glorious thing, whether you're building skyscrapers, planting a plant, talking to a bumble bee, whatever it might be, my dear friend: pure unabashed love.
"Now, as an example of this, a glorious Man who did walk the earth, who was real, who certainly, my dear friends, was the greatest incarnation of love ever to be upon the earth, one hundred percent unabashedly truth expressed fully and completely, who did come to the earth one incarnation only (not to say that there weren't others who tried, but this particular man truly did walk the earth unabashedly in pure love), and that was my dear friends, Jesus Christ. And He was a great teacher, and He was a great man, and He kept it simple, and He did teach in every motion, every act that He did. He taught about love.
"Now, He came to the earth, He incarnated and He knew how He would die, and He had stones cast at Him, and there were plenty of people who didn't like Him. And He walked the earth, and He loved, and He smiled. He sang songs. He created furniture- beautiful furniture! And He loved every tree that He used to create that furniture, and released its soul before He cut it down. Everything He did was pure love.
"He did not run, my dear friends, from His final destiny in terms of His physical body, because He knew He was not that. And so there He was crucified, and there He was in the understanding that He was not His body, and in that truth was able to minister to others.
"Could you? Would you? Can you have that kind of love in your heart?
"That, my dear friend, is the state of an enlightened man. Otherwise He would have been screaming in pain crying 'It hurts! Get me down!' But He knew that was not truth. That was the lie.
"You're an eternal being, my dear friends. Your journey here is temporary, but your soul, my dear friends, is eternal.
"You are a beautiful spirit. We don't say things lightly. If you can learn to accept that you are a beautiful spirit from our voice, you just might be able to accept it from yourselves. The God within you says, 'You are a beautiful spirit, and I love you.' That's your teacher."
