Note from Summer: When I was looking for excerpts for the Timeless Guidance section of this newsletter, I heard loud and clear “2016!” So, I browsed my old external hard drives and quickly found this excerpt that easily pertains to the world today. Enjoy!
Pease stop with your worries about the economy and other things. Please understand that is not who you are. You are not your money, you are not your cars, you are not your homes, you are not the economy, and you are not at the mercy of anybody or anything ever unless you want to put yourself in that position.
If you want to you can be a victim, you can be afraid and you can fear the economy and all the rest while you are not enjoying what you already have in the bank, you see? You’re waiting on an elusive “there” to get to. Where “when things get better, when the economy picks up, when everything is in right order, when I have so much money in my back account, when I take that trip to China,” or whatever it might be, “I’ll be happy!” Why are you waiting on your happiness? It is not necessary. You can have it right here, right now.
Yes, there are going to be ups and downs with your economy. Yes, there are going to be wars, there are going to be earthquakes, there are going to be floods, there are going to be fires. There’s going to be change always, because that’s the nature of the universe.
Change is what you thrive on. If there is no change, there is death absolute. And that’s where you find yourself in a box. So, change in any shape or form is absolutely necessary, and it is good and it is right because it is, my dear friends, how you grow: through change upon the earth. So remember, you reserve the right always to change your mind, and you reserve the right to change your words, and you reserve the right to choose whether or not you will be happy and peaceful, or whether you will be hateful and spiteful, fearful, and angry.
This is a time where every person upon the earth is going to be tested. In your spirit ask yourself, what do you want? It is not up to anybody else to create your happiness for you. Not the economy, not the president of the United States of America. It is up to you, and we assure you that you can be happy and peaceful no matter the circumstances around you, always.
Remember, you are a spirit incarnate in a physical form, and you and only you have charge of your life. The only time that anybody wields power over you is when you give it away. It is by choice.

You are that which you are seeking in life. It’s already there within you. When you wash away the illusions, when you wash away the fear, the belief that you are separate from anything or anyone, you are suddenly united with peace and prosperity, clarity, hope, faith, love, and overwhelmed by a sense of gratitude for life itself.
