| On Illness and Healing |

Question: Since Jesus said we could do all He could do and more, how are we to best heal ourselves? Is there a difference between healing ourselves of a major illness, or healing ourselves of a sprained muscle, for example? Question: Yes, that helps a lot. So it has to do with our Spirit and our Connection to God? Dr. Peebles: Absolutely yes, my dear, because who was One of the Greatest upon the Earth who was truly the, if you will, God Incarnate? And that would be Christ. So He did not hold anything or anyone or any illness at arm’s length. He knew it WAS Him. He knew if He were to lay hands upon you, or to simply look you in the eye, He would simply take your illness from you. He’s not afraid of it, it doesn’t hurt Him, it’s just simply a part of who He knows He is. Not anything less than, not anything more than, just simply, my dear, everything. But bringing love to the surface is the point. Can you imagine, for example, a balloon filled up with all kinds of things: sadness, happiness, pain, depression, abundance, freedom, liberty, wrapped up with the skin, if you will, of love (that would be the balloon itself)? That’s what you choose to bring to the surface, and that love is ever-expanding the more you are willing to bring in Light, not hold it at arm’s length. Just as you put air into the balloon, you put Light into your own soul, and ever-expand. Question: This is wonderful. I’ve never read this information anywhere. Dr. Peebles: God bless you, indeed. My dear, as far as we are concerned, it is one of the ultimate truths of the Universe, but it’s frightening for human beings to hear, because human beings don’t want certain things; they don’t want to feel pain, they don’t want depression, constantly striving to avoid melancholy, for example. But once one merges with the very same, you understand it, and you see it’s not as scary a monster as it tends to be when you’re holding it at arm’s length. Because once you allow for it, my dear, it disappears. It just goes back into the fold, God Bless You, indeed.
