How Great Thou Art: Rising Above Circumstance

Excerpt from "How Great Thou Art: Rising Above Circumstance"
Dr. Peebles through Summer Bacon
October 2008

"...These are real circumstances upon your school called Planet Earth that you face in each and every moment of each and every day as you strive to understand your right to receive and to give abundance.

These circumstances are also filled with uncertainty, with illusions of separation, opportunities to keep you separate from God's love, opportunities to keep you separate from your greatness. How great thou art my dear friends. You, within yourself have the opportunity, the choice, the possibility to change your mind. You can, in a circumstance wherein you are facing financial devastation, choose to distrust, choose the language of despair, choose the language that says that you are good for nothing and a failure, or you can choose the language of the heart that says to you, "this is just a teacher, this is a teacher that will help you to expand your awareness of the Universe and that which is real and alive at all times, that which touches all the darker spaces, that which is the greatest healer of all, that which is love, love which rises above circumstance." It is in that moment where you choose to change your mind, to embrace and to utilize, to understand, to listen to, to express and to live the language of the heart that all of these circumstances that really are there (yes, my dear friend, they are occurring, just like the sharks within the ocean with the possibility of biting you, they are there), but you give them no credence. No longer does it matter to you the financial condition of your life, not because you don't care, shrug your shoulders and walk away, but you look at it as just simply what it is: it is a circumstance, it is a situation, it is not who you are. You, my dear friends, are greater than the circumstance itself because you are the embodiment of love, and you have the choice therein to express it."
